AAANNND they’re gone!
I just want to thank all you good people for supporting me by buying a Flying Lemon. You’re a total bunch of champs.
Thanks also to @AndreBoulay and @YoYoExpertEric for being so kind as to stock them at the best yoyo store the this planet has to offer, and do let me know if you should you want more in future @AndreBoulay
Thank you all!!
It seems that many missed the drop entirely, myself included. You may even be more surprised by how a second batch sells. I feel like a huge pile of candy was laid in front of me, I turned around for a second and when I looked back… all gone.
Don’t worry, I would like to make another run which includes the red Lemon edition based on the children’s book ‘The Red Lemon’ by Bob Staake. But only if @AndreBoulay agrees to stocking the next run. I have emailed Bob directly to ask permission to use one of his illustrations for an engraving. I think there is a pretty low chance he will reply to the likes of me, but we’ll see.
Of course, if when everyone receives it they agree the yoyo is lacklustre, I will refrain from making more. I just don’t know!
I’m with you. Was looking forward to this one and totally missed the drop.
Well I’m in for a second one if you make another run! I usually hate small yoyos and I love this one. It’s a tiny yoyo with a HUGE soul, and it rips.
It’s such a fun yo-yo - I’m having a blast with it!
I’d love to see a clear Flying Lemon in the next run…
I have permission to use artwork from Bob Staake’s ‘The Red Lemon picture book for a Red Lemon version of the Flying Lemon.
Now to figure how to actually make the laser engravings from the pictures… No idea so far.
I would also love to see some clears lemons!
You won’t, sorry.
Will you be having the machine shop do the engraving and you need to provide the appropriate file?
