Rbc is super responsive so I definitely recommend using a really thin string, or it just won’t do 1a. Original throw regular and rain city skills string I find work the best for it

I also really like playing it as a fixie too. I found that the 3mm MR85 rendered into a bearing blank is the ticket! I filled it with glue to do this, but you could also use an o-ring, Layer Infinity style.
@MarkD has hinted at exploring bearing blanks for future 0A projects, hoping that happens!

I think it will (hopefully) be my only purchase for a while. I’m not entirely in a position to buy ANYTHING not necessary, but I think I’ll be able to save up enough to not get myself in trouble

Maybe I should elaborate: Its a pretty good yoyo and I love the MR85 design, but AL constrained the dimensions too much and that affected its performance. The Plasm was a attempt to fix that by making it closer to full size. I think it performs significantly better than the RBC. I still dont like it anywhere near as much as the metal Harbinger though.
