Surge

My surge just became suddenly very noisy. What does it mean?
Thank you

As long as it’s performance hasn’t changed, I don’t think its a big deal. My bearings do that too, and I don’t see any performance changes.
If performance has changed, such as lower sleep times or more responsive, Try cleaning the bearing.

Ok,
Just my parents who doesn’t like it

OH MAI GAWD! YOU KNOW WHAT THAT MEANS!?

It means your bearing has broken in ^.^ lol :P. you’ll find that it goes on and off, no biggy, happens to most yoyos, so as long as the bearing isn’t all gritty your ok ^.^

Get some yoyo lube and itll be quiet again

it will also be responsive

Not if you apply sparingly (not the full drop that comes right from the bottle-- that’s too much) and use thin oil. If you have compressed air (actual air compressor preferred, but canned air like for dusting electronics will do in a pinch) all the better, since you can blast away any excess after you’ve distributed it throughout. My bearings are typically unresponsive immediately after lubing. And quiet, too!
