Ive heard that sponsors give players yoyos, but do they also pay for travel expenses to competitions?
Only the bigger companies tend to provide travel expenses, and only for their top level competitors, and not even for every contest. It’s just not financially feasible or wise for most yoyo companies, since there isn’t a whole lot of money to go around in the industry anyways.

Some brands do it for players for like one big contest but it’s often more like hey I want to see my friends and I’ll help the best I can. In the end it’s a maybe at best and not often expected or guaranteed
