Is the yoyo titanium?
Unless your carpet is made of cubic boron nitride, diamond or iron instead of wool or polyester, there is no way that could be a permanent scuff.

EDIT: like I can barely see the scuff. concrete + a harder throw next time. But for real I understand but all my throws get love taps eventually.

Is that you on a skateboard in your avatar? Is your body in mint condition? I hope so, and you better refrain from further “dangerous activities” or you might ding it!
I mean you do you, but a scuff like that is just a little scar picked up through the sacred act of playing. It’s a badge of honor - your own contribution to the yo-yo’s story.
But if you just want to sell it, I’m no one to stand in the way of that. Best of luck w sale.
