1st batch of Chief with early long nipple design is the most hard-to-go from my collection.
Hard to say what color it is. Under the sunlight it’s clear silver, but it becomes ice blue when it comes to indoor or shade.
Perfect condition with an original CLYW FG box. Asking for $550 shipped.

They made long nipple Chiefs in the 5th run?
The long nipple appears in early run of Chief. But I believe clear color is 5 or 6th run.
I prefer to call them ‘axle bumps’.
I also own several Chiefs with long nipples. They were slightly lighter than other batches.
I’ve noticed that the 2nd batch uses standard nipples; perhaps these are from the 1st run or very early production models?
If anyone has more information, please let me know.

@atdesignlab is one of the greatest collector I have ever met in the community. Also, Norbert said that it might be the 1st Run Chief. I have to change my description now.

I contacted some Japanese CLYW collector and our only 1st run Chief have longer nipples.
I also find 1st run Chief which I didn’t noticed as 1st run in my collections.
