Great choices, I have both and really like them. The Skyline was originally designed to be the successor to the 888, and in many ways i think it is (still love an 888 though). The Essence is just a great all around organic. It hasn’t left my rotation since i got it. What other General-yo have you tried? I have a 5 star and think you would love it.

For General Yo, I’ve only had a Hatrick, which I thought was great but not a keeper for me at the time. Agree that I’d probably enjoy a 5 star, that’s another yoyo I’ve had my eye on for a long time.
A thing that surprised me about the Essence is how closely the specs match the OG Peak. Really curious to make a comparison once it arrives.
