Bowl MG update. Hit it on my jacket zipper and it left a few marks. Seems like a scratch hard to tell though. Haven’t cleaned it. Maybe cleaning it will take it off and all the grime from my hands.
Hopefully just a surface mark! Do you have an eye loop to really get in and take a look? GL!
I do love the way mine is breaking in!
I do not. I will clean it this weekend and update.
An eraser works ok, a Mr clean magic eraser is decent, I tried a toothbrush and soap and it’s not bad. You never really get them fully clean so just expect that. @8269christopher
Thanks
Good news bad news situation.
Bad news- the marks did not come off and this will now be played hard.
Good news- will be getting another MG bowl to be a shelf/case queen.
sooner or later the world will understand that magnesium is a bad material for making yoyos… for a variety of reasons…
The bad news sounds like very good news to me…
My dad has a friend whom he made shortly after moving to Phoenix at the age of 18. His friend’s dad used to smack his new cars’ bumpers with a ball-peen hammer, then posit “now I don’t need to worry about it.” Words and actions to live by, especially when it comes to toys.
On topic, this is my favorite Ti to date:
It’s a b-grade for an off-center “1” engraving. Tickles me pink that this is likely the intended serial #1.
HAHA! That’s the one to get!!
that has to be more than $2000 in one photo
It does look stunning and how are the acoustics in that room
I need to get some pictures of mine when the gang’s all here. I just picked the hobby back up and immediately fell in love with RSO. In just the past few weeks I’ve gotten a Bowl XL, The End Part II, and ordered one of the 5th anniversary Bowls that should be shipping out in the next couple days. Some of these collections have my mouth watering.
Kinda boomy at sound check but when more people were in the room it was dampened a bit . Bet it woulda sounded amazing for some acoustic jazz or something more mellow.
Good idea
