Nothing had changed drastically compared an year ago, except Anubis 2, but maybe I could get a chance to add a Mustang U in my collection next week…

Is it weird that I find collections like this much more appealing than the monster collections a lot of us end up with?
It just seems very intentionally cultivated, and the lack of random weird throws and plastics really adds to the aesthetic especially with such nice yo-yos.

I find that a good looking collection usually focuses on something.
i.e. mostly plastics, or metals, or certain shapes/sizes.
I personally think plastic organics are king. (Freehand FTW!)

Agreed. I prefer a carefully, cultivated collection much more appealing. That’s not to say that collector collections don’t have a place, but personally, would much rather have a smaller, more manageable size that caters to my personal preference rather than owning every single throw that ever existed. That being said, Two is one; one is none is an ever-present motto throughout my life, so there’s a good chance that my collection is likely twice it’s size due to that motto, one for play and one for looks (or backup, pursuant of the three is two clause)
Edit: To add, I’m the kind of person that gravitates towards specific things as I tend to like a specific style/feel/taste/etc (when including other hobbies). I pick up something new every now and again to see if my tastes have evolved, but that’s after a few weeks of using the same

The collection really focuses on throws from Jake Bullock, Recess and OhYesYo / Coffin’s collabs. The OYY/ Coffin collection has definitely been a labor of love to collect the main releases and track down some of the rare ones.
With that being said I NEED a Nightingale 2 so bad!

There’s about a square-foot of space on my dresser where I keep 21 yo-yos. 
Edit: I found a new-ish picture, I’ve added 4 yo-yos to this pile since.
