Rio by Yoyofriends! - Restock in New Colors and Light Up Version! - Available 09/30 - 8pm EST!

Rio_Feature
The Yoyofriends Rio is back—now available in six stunning new colors, including a special light-up edition!

The Rio is a high-performance plastic yo-yo, precision machined from durable polycarbonate. Its design follows in the footsteps of Yoyofriends’ popular Dove and AoE, with a refined shape and a focus on rim weight for maximum stability and spin performance. The wide profile and smooth curves provide a comfortable feel in the hand, while the center hub is built for easy finger spins.

The new light-up version brings even more fun to the lineup! This edition integrates LED circuitry directly into the yo-yo body. Simply bring the included magnet close to the hub to activate the lights, which cycle through solid glow, blinking mode, and off. The system will also respond to any magnet, so be sure to store it carefully when not in use.

The Rio combines affordability, performance, and a touch of innovation—whether you’re practicing at home or putting on a show, it’s ready to light up your play.

Replacement LED parts are available. To install them, you will need the official Yoyofriends Removal Tool.

I think it’s worth mentioning in giant bold letters that the light up modules do not have replaceable batteries and so you’re forced to buy replacement kits..

imo a massive design failure, but I hate ewaste..

even with the non-replacable batteries, i’m going to snag one of the light up ones. perfect to take with me when i hit up music festivals

That’s disappointing but I’m assuming I could solder things if I wished just not user friendly

meh, i’d rather just replace the batteries in a MYY aurora at that point, but it doesn’t have the profile lighting due to the metal body..

Construction on this seems so much more 3a friendly tho like I would def ruin a pair of auroras and the only thing cooler than coro is nighttime coro so… :grimacing: but yeah thanks for the info and imma not nerd emote you for that

Maybe I could find a replacement where i could just switch batteries hmmm

Ohh are these the light up kits? Looks like something I can change batteries on might be annoying to do but doable
