Nope these are Freshly Dirty Stems. I’m shipping them to the testers with c bearings (half spec, unresponsive, and a sealed greased bearing) and they will also fit the A and D bearing stems.
I’m calling them Dirty Caramels.
I had these done like I mentioned earlier with the original shop that did the indestructible prototypes. The only difference is instead of a bead blast finish I opted for “ultra polished” finish. Which is why they look like you could pull a mosquito out of one to revive the dinosaurs.

Similar concept as the greasebucket. I reached out to my bearing factory contact and had them make a couple hundred rubber sealed greased bearings c bearings. The same style bearing as what Spencer Berry includes in the Theodore!

Do you just guess real good when designing or is their a method to your madness
There is some madness to the method. I have a reasonable sense of what most materials weigh and will turn out in final form and also how thick walls need to be for strength so they can survive dings. Like okay I’m making a smaller copper design I’m going to make the walls at least 1.5 mm and I’m gonna keep the overall width and diameter within vague targets.
Then I enter the materials grams per cc density into fusion and get the actual weight. Then I make adjustments because more than likely I got it a little wrong during the sketch out. So then I thicken or thin some areas out to get the goal weight.
For these I weighed the FD stems, bearing, and pads ahead of time, calculated out the density of the Ultem, and then added it all up to double check the weight before I sent it to the shop.
It’s not perfect. In this case I was predicting I think about 57 grams on paper but Ultem has some natural variance in density.
