Return Bottoms aka Sickburn Yo-Yo Workshop News and Updates

Everyone ready for a funny story? It didn’t start out funny.

There I was, walking to go pick my youngest up from school, throwing my brand new Demon’s Fun. Then, disaster. The string broke, and my shiny new titanium throw rolled and rolled and rolled…right down a storm drain.

I could see it, but the grate was just REALLY stuck on there.

I called Public Works, and they’re coming to open the storm drain and retrieve said yo-yo. The only reason they’re willing to was because the guy used to work with titanium, and it curious to see a PVD-coated titanium yo-yo, because he’d done anodizing, powder coating, ceracoting, but had never done or seen PVD.

Dude was nerding out about titanium over the phone with me.

I should thankfully have it back tomorrow morning.

At least I’ll be able to say I’ve got the super-rare Sewer Demon variant

I’ll probably have to replace the bearing, but thankfully I have a few MR-85 laying around.
