Would need more info on how you came to the conclusion it was a macrocosm though. If you asked him and he said he didn’t know I would say it was your own assumption then.

He said Its a rebel yoyos something… And I thought “rebel yoyos only makes one yoyo, and it looks like it is…” He said the person who he got it from said that’s what it was.
Seeing as how he mentioned the brand was indeed rebel yoyos and it turned out to be the other brand known as rec rev that sounds like his fault. If it had been a different yoyo from the correct brand it’d probly be on you though.
Considering how poorly both yoyos sell I’d say maybe an extra $10-$20 would be pretty fair for making up on this
most recrevs tend to go in the $30 range and I’ve seen rebel yoyos go for less that $50
This is why a picture is so much better instead or relying on description.
I still think you got the better deal with the chief as long as it wasn’t too beat since the void, dietz, and dv888 are pretty unpopular throws
