Clean and maintain your bearings properly, even cheap bearings can be quiet (to some degree).
One thing I noticed is, some people just doesn’t care if their bearing suddenly goes loud as long as they play normally. But for me, when the bearing suddenly goes loud, stop and clean it until it sounds as good as before.
Maybe it’s just me but I think that if the sound is different, then something must’ve changed, and I don’t feel comfortable until it’s been resolved.
You can try cleaning the bearing with lighter fluid (or thinner or mineral spirits), then lube it, then clean it again but for the second one only dip the bearing like 1 second. The lighter fluid will ‘thin’ the lube, but not so much that it cleaned it up completely. If it goes loud again, add lube and repeat the process until you have a quiet but completely unresponsive bearing.
Pixel forsure. Bought 5 during Christmas holiday and they are silent. Never had to clean or lube them.
