Pop! Yoyos presents... The Weasel Gen1!

From the depths of my mind and through the help of @MarkD of Mk1 fame comes the Weasel! A refined balance of fun and competitive mindsets, I am proud to have this as my first foray into the scene of yoyo design! Despite its high mass, the Weasel is extremely easy to maneuver without sacrificing power.

this is a fun one, I love the projection grooves (if we use the onedrop terminology) in the profile, makes grinds very easy and I think they look sweet.

the spike is indeed, very very sharp

I have a constructive question. This has nothing to do with ‘what the yo-yo can do’.

This has more to do with ‘a missed opportunity’.

So… in the images, it is very easy to see you could cause a serious problem at a balloon factory.

That Matador tip is so sharp, I doubt it could be made even sharper? So, that in itself is a conversation generator.

But instead of having that needle point feature…. Why don’t you just give the yo-yo softer tips and make them a functional feature?

Unless your fingertips are made from Penitentiary Steel, you certainly can’t do a Rip Start without becoming a blood donor.

But if you softened them to make them more User friendly, you could not only Rip Start… but fingerspin.

Matador tips are excellent for finger spins.

I have no doubt that the yo-yo is going to be a Player.

But, to be so close to adding another feature to your first yo-yo design, why pass up the chance to make the yo-yo even more fun and less painful?
