Poly-Parley!

Hi all!

Recently seen a thread on good bang for the buck or otherwise solid bi-metals, then another centred around mono-metals. In that spirit:

What’s everyone’s favourite Polyurethane throw? I’m gearing up to get my first soon, and looking between the Atmos PolyBerry and the Speedaholic XX.

Feel free to send me in weird directions - I have enough competitive playing/feeling yo-yo’s, looking for something fun and nicely balanced!

Thanks!

Luftverk plastics have something for everyone. I’ve tried the pFulvia and the Plastic Peak. I prefer the Fulvia simply because I’m not a huge organic fan, but if you don’t care about performance then Pleak isn’t bad either

The pleak was my first unresponsive, and i think its good for that purpose, especially if you’re a guy like me, who was getting back into yoyos for the first time since like ‘06

Yeah, Pleak appeals to old heads or those who want to take a bite of old fashioned CLYW.

I have to mention it every time, I love this yoyo. Available for under $30 where everything is sold

Japan Technology- Ample is one of my favorite and most powerful throws. It’s 100% POM.

Has specs like the H5 Leaf, or Super Scintillator.

It’s a little taller than the Leaf and a bit wider than the Super Scintillator. A bit heavier than either one.

Shape of the Sengoku Raijin, just bigger.

This thing is a power house! Spins for days. It also feels great in the hand.

Highly recommended if you want a performance oriented plastic!

Ample is good and also available in a PC version that weighs 65.9g compared to the POM version’s 77.9g.

The C3 Ghost IX is also good and is not quite as extreme as the Ample:
