I have this throw since 2016, I have no idea what it is, please help. I think it was a copy of the leviathan. It weighs 66.7g; diameter 53.00mm; width 44.72mm with a gap of 4.85mm.
Hey there! This was technically not “officially” a Leviathan copy but it was extremely similar. These were sold on Taobao years ago and had no official name. My understanding is that they were produced by Aoda and never had any branding or engravings done to them. They were sold around the 35$ mark at that time of sales.
Although they weren’t called Leviathans, many people did basically just call them Leviathan copies due to the similarities.
Fun fact: When Jason Lee was still yoyoing actively around 2015, he carried one of these around as his favorite daily yoyo and swore by it’s performance.
