This BST is slightly unusual (for me, at least), as it features a yoyo yet to be released. As such, I’ll include more info than normal.
This is the YYF Mega Monster, or as I affectionately call it, the Meg. It’s currently unreleased, and will retail for $99.
YYF Mega Monster
It does have a few superficial scratches/flaws in the anno on one side from the factory (not felt on grinds):
Since so few have played it, I’ll give a brief description of how it plays (feel free to ask more). I don’t think specs have been released yet, but it’s big. Like, really, really big. I was surprised that it didn’t feel like the width was in the way or just a gimmick - it actually plays really well and feels like a premium bimetal. It’s incredibly stable for something so wide; you can definitely feel that classic bimetal stability. It’s also incredibly powerful. I purposefully drug it through some longer combos where I messed up multiple times, and I still don’t recall ever having to snap start it, because it always made it back to my hand. All of those things would make you think that it would feel heavy, but it really doesn’t (it has a fair bit of float to help with that).
As you can see, the rims are quite a bit thinner than those on the MonsteR, which seems to help with the weight. If you liked the MonsteR, it feels pretty much like what you’d expect a bimetal version to play like, except this thing is so much bigger that it makes that actually feel small
It’s one of the more interesting yoyos I’ve played with. It truly makes everything else feel awkward to play with afterward. I don’t really want to get rid of it, but I could stand to recoup some money. This one has only been very lightly played over carpet. If you want to try it early and missed the Trust Ben, here’s your chance.
Condition: new

Did tear the box a little. String and manual still inside:
It does have some polishing flaws in the cups that looks like small smudges, but the clear-coat anno on the rest is perfect; plus, I figure the fact that it’s new compensates for that (literally played it for 5 minutes to test vibe. Ngl, also wanted to see what one of this things plays like, lol). Tried to photograph it in the worst light to show the flaws.
Condition: Good (B-grade finish)
Vibe: 8.5-9/10* (light nail vibe; definitely A grade here)
