Paypal phishing expo

Received the email below recently. The sender email address was a clear give away that it was a scam. Also the link in the “log in now” box was a dead giveaway. Looks pretty authentic overall. Being brave I tried it anyway. Firefox blocked it as a malicious site…

I did log in to my papal account thru my normal channels. It was all good.

Idiots.

The bigger idiots are those that fall for this sort of thing, especially when the red flags are hitting you in the face.

I’ve felt the same way for years. Sometimes I have a hard time feeling bad for some people who get scammed when it’s so damn obvious.

I’ve gotten e-mails like this before with the same obvious red flags. I immediately mark them as spam and move on.
