These came in the mail a few days ago, haven’t had time to post. First impressions the tyrant is amazing. I’ll post my detailed thoughts when I have a bit more time with it.
Thanks everyone this is so cool!

The bearing is doing all right. It was a little grimy when I got it in the mail, but I cleaned it and lubed it and now it’s working fine.

So my 2 weeks is officially up. @TryCatchThrow pm me you address and I’ll get it sent off to you within the next couple of days.

Final thoughts, this thing is amazing, and I don’t say that about a yo-yo unless I mean it. Being a 1A player I primarily played 1A with it but I’ll get to 5A in a sec. This thing packs a punch for 62 grams, it’s very nimble and maneuverable while still stable. It’s very comfortable in the hand too. I’m super impressed and I may have to bite the bullet and get one.

As far as 5A goes I’m not the most proficient at it but I had one of my good friends at Yoyo club Dustin Gunter who is good a 5A give it a whirl. He also was super impressed by it. Something to consider though is the fact being that the Yoyo is 62 grams, the counterweight can tend to overpower the Yoyo pulling it out of aerials. He mentioned that a slightly lighter counterweight would easily solve the issue though. The other minor complaint that he had was the the gap was a little uncomfortable on his thumb when the Yoyo came back to his hand.

Nate Daily also tried it out and was super impressed.

I’m sorry to have to send this on but excited for you all to try it. Thanks @Beverchakus for putting this together.

Awesome!! Thanks a bunch for the reviews!! As a 5a player myself, i agree a slightly lighter CW suits the tyrant very well. Very fast setup.

Also, i do have 1 left over from PNWR if you do want it. Never even opened. (Alchemik does have a handful more raw ones left too)

Buuuuut, if you wanna wait a bit longer… there will be a run of ano’d Tyrants coming soon. Can’t talk about the details but i’ve seen pics and it’s SICK.

Where does one find out about the drops? :eyes:
Asking for a friend…….

I assume there insta would be the best place

That has to be the most impressive trick I’ve ever seen! :exploding_head: I’ve never been much interested in 3A, but that might change now.

Is there any chance I could be on this long list? Never tried a D bearing, and only got to try a Ti once (under very suboptimal conditions). No worries if not.

P.S. - Digging the kilt!

Yup, insta is going to be the best place. I’ll also update this thread for anyone interested in snagging one. A website is almost ready i think too.

And @Solemn_Kaizoku you’re on the long list!

This arrived.

First few throws feel pretty solid. Super stable and powerful.

I didn’t realize there was a TRT Buoy in the box too. I might be almost as excited for that too!

Two 5A setups. Both are awesome players. The Tyrant is only the second titanium I’ve played and wow. It’s got spin for days!
