Is it possible to overtighten a tactic? When I got it the crosshairs on the axle lined up with the crosshairs on the yoyo. Now when I tighten it the axle twists even farther and it has a bad vibe that I’m trying to keep in check with PTFE tape. The tape only goes so far though. I never cranked on it, just screwing to the end of the thread and stopping. The yoyo doesn’t have a ding or even a scratch for that matter. I have found that this vibe is caused by the axle tightness. Is there anything I can do?? I gotta say it’s more than a little disappointing. My dv888 has never had this problem. Heck my hitman is smoother. 
Oh, I tried exchanging the axles on the dv888 and tactic and the same problem so it isn’t the axle.
Anybody think there is anything I can do to save this great yoyo?
Well it sounds like the threads probably. The only thing I would think of to do would be teflon tape or some threadlocker.
