So today my speech and drama coach was asking me about my OUT jff and he asked what the orange/ white inlay is made of. We just assumed it was plastic but does anyone specifically know what it is? Thanks ![]()
Ivory
99.7% sure it’s an acrylic inlay. Paul does terrific work.
You can’t use ivory. It’s illegal.
Besides, ivory is pure white, not orange/white marbled.
Paul shouldn’t be using ivory then ![]()

This stuff.
Don’t worry, no animals were harmed during the making of these yoyos ;D
Thanks!
My sister thought it was a stone at first
that would be really cool if it was!
It’s not illegal to use ivory! It is illegal to harvest ivory!
If the ivory being used was imported from the 1970’s or earlier, then it’s perfectly legal!
But you’re right…ivory is not orange/white marbled! ![]()
No one ever said… How do the OUTs play? Are they just for show?
I believe the answer to that is “NOPE!!!”
I’ve heard a lot of good things about how they play.
I was looking to get one a VA States, but they didn’t have the one I want, so I’ll have to include it in my next order.
I was the one who requested them to bring OUT and TMBR, specifically the ones I wanted ;D They said they don’t usually bring much wood, but they ended up bringing some other cool ones too.
I think OUTs play great!
