Our first release from Free2Throw - The LiV!

Free2Throw is a new company founded by Tony Saffioti with a goal to create unique and affordable yoyos for all levels of play. This is their first design - The LiV!

For their first model, Tony and his team thought it would be fun to create a yoyo inspired by their childhood favorite tv show - Power Rangers! The LiV is a bi-metal design named after the Power Ranger’s ally - Alpha 5 the robot. The idea is that if you were to take the yoyo apart and part the halves together at the rims, it would resemble Alpha’s head and even the dimple on the inside of the cup was designed to match the dimple on his head.

Aside from resembling a 90’s robot, The LiV is a fantastic performer! This lightweight bi-metal throw is available in two versions - Steel rings (56.4g) and Brass rings (57.9g). It has an organic profile that fits comfortable in the hand and when paired with the lightweight build feels nimble and maneuverable on the string with plenty of power.

Releasing Wednesday 7/27 @ 8PM EDT.

A promising first release from a new company, Free2Throw is excited to get the LiV out there into the hands of more throwers!

Wow, they really came swinging out the gate with a unique first yoyo. You don’t see such yoyos every day.

The weight itself is enough for me to want to buy one. Awesome stuff.

Are the rims removable? Like you can switch all the parts around?

No, the rims are fixed like standard bi-metals.
