I was interested in trying one of the OT signature line of strings, mainly debating between the Jonathan, izuru and hunter versions. Though I’m having a hard time telling what the differences are from the shop descriptions. I was wondering if anyone has tried multiple of them and can provide some advice.

Following. I recently received a few OT strings with a yoyo I bought from @Savannah913 but I don’t know which ones they are. They are very soft and whip very well so I just purchased a package of OT normal the other day and I’m waiting for them to arrive. I’m curious about what the difference is between the different styles. I have been using yysl and airetic for years.

I haven’t used a OT string that I didn’t like yet. I’ve used yellow Normal and Wild, and pink Lee Jihoo.
I’ve used all three of them
for tech tricks i’d go with izuru, for more whip/slack heavy tricks I’d go with hunter, if you want the happy middle ground jonathan is in the middle. personally, izuru is my favorite since I find it lasts the longest
hunter’s string is the coarsest and feels the fattest, whips aggressively and predictably but tends to wear out a bit faster than the other two
jonathan’s string is a bit less rough, still has good slacks but takes a bit more effort to get them formed
izuru’s string still whips relatively well but I’d say is largely intended for more traditional tech-style elements
