I competed in V3, I did no zoning at all and my song choice was really bad, im changing it up this time

how so? was the framing of the video bad or did you not move around?

zoning is using other areas around your body, like arm, horizontal, BTB and stuff like that

Hey guys I was thinking about submitting something for the scales open. Is it true that it is due on the 15th of this month? Do I need to submit both a final and a prelim? And what do I do if I have no access to a stage, do I just video anywhere? and what is the best way to edit a song? Sorry I am new to all this.

Have you registered? You need to register to enter. If you register amateur you only need a 1 min, if your register pro you need a 1 min and a 2 min. Here are the rules, they have filming guidelines too. https://scalescollective.com/rules

Are there going to be other contests like this in the near future? I may need more than 5 days to come up with an actual well thought out routine.

We hopefully will be running 1 or 2 more of these later this year, not sure when though.
