Panorama is my all time favorite. Second would be the gen2 54 with brass mini spikes. Picked it up when they first dropped and have played it just about every day since. Summit will also hold a special spot for me as well.

Kamuraiju is my pick. But honestly, I have loved every OD that I have got to play. I was even lucky enough to visit their shop once and was aloud to play with their collection. It was definitely the highlight of the trip. Truly great products made by incredible people.

That’s awesome! The Kamuraiju is probably my favorite 54, but I haven’t tried the 54 Rev 2 yet.

I have both, it’s a tough call. I think it comes down to shape preference. I like the Kamuraiju better than the Wyvern. Since I love organics, the 54 gen 2 wins for me.

Have you tried the Boosted Wyvern or just the OG? I like the OG, but I feel like the Boosted is a pretty good upgrade.

Same here.

Struggling to pick a true favorite, frankly. Maybe Still Rollin? I could live with just Still Rollin if I had to.

Just the OG. It’s not bad by any means, and normally I like the shape, but it didn’t wow me compared to other releases.

Here is the 2024 OneDrop Lineup. Sadly, the only one I jumped on in 2024 was the ThruLine. Its nice but doesn’t get much play. Rainier is a must have and both the 54 and Dingo, Gen 2 look interesting.

ThruLine April 2024
Cabal Gen 2 May 2024
54 Gen 2 June 2024
Perspective July 2024
M2 September 2024
Wyvern - Boosted October 2024
Rainier December 2024
Dingo Gen 2 December 2024

My all time OD fav is INTRO and OG Project.
In no particular order, Parlay, MCMO, FRS P2, Summit, Cerakote Sugar Glider, Rebirth/Reboot, Nickle 54 are also high on my list. Long live OD!!

I cant believe I haven’t gotten my hands on Kamuraiju or Wyvern

I did want to give an honorable mention to the Thorn. I did not like it at all when I first got it, put it on the shelf for a few weeks. I eventually swapped the bearing for a centering one and switched strings to something a little thinner. I really enjoy it now. Different from all my organic OD’s.

I really got into unresponsive a little over a year ago, and wanted to try a One Drop. I bought a Panorama off the BST as it was a shape that felt familiar to what I had with responsive.

I have bought (too) many One Drops since then as I experiment and figure out what it like. I keep coming back to the Panorama. I also have a fondness for the Vanguard.

And shout outs to the Sugar Glider and Aitch.

Onedrop have manufactured some of my favorite yoyos, even ones released by other companies.

My favorite that they released is the Panorama

The strings that come with one drops are probably the best bulk strings on the market. I done said what I said

Really? I felt they were stiff and not very comfortable to play with for long time.

If it’s the same CAD you just get a heavier yoyo though, wouldn’t the whole point of using 7075 be for a more optimized weight distribution due to the increased strength of the alloy?

It is interesting that the 6061 Panorama seems to be more popular than the 7075 Diorama. At least it “seems” that way to me. I have no statistical analysis to support that statement.

Correct…

Hoping some of you One Drop guys can help me out.

Despite being into yo-yos long enough to have tried a project 1 right after it came out, I’ve never actually owned a One Drop.

But my yoyo sensibilities have changed pretty drastically, and I’m considering buying one of three different ODs I’ve been looking at:

The Kamaraiju, or Reboot, or Top Deck probably in that order of preference. I’ve been wanting to play something slightly undersized since I don’t really have anything modern in that range. I know the Top Deck isn’t really undersized but it’s pretty close to Genesis specs and this pleases the Durfee.

If you have thoughts/experience with these yo-yos or have alternative recommendations that wouldn’t require a Heart of Darkness style trip through the BST please let me know. Or don’t, it’s really up to you.

You should be happy with any of those 3. I personally like the Top Deck>Kamuraiju>Reboot, but they are all great. I waited a long time before buying the Kamuraiju, I looked at the specs and shape and didn’t think much of it, but I got one on sale finally: it performs great and zips through my tricks as fast as I can, and it has side effects. Reboot is more laidback, which I like. Top Deck is always in my top 5 favorite One Drops. It’s what I use a basis for a lot of other throws from them, “is it a good as the Top Deck?”

I don’t have much to say that @Siggy-06 didn’t already…but…I do need to make room. I have a Kamuraiju, and Reboot I’ll sell you at a fair price.
