As the subject suggests i have and old coca cola yoyo which was broken so i drilled out the old axle and and picked out all the wood. Then i used a spare FHZ axle and spacers to make it accept an A size bearing. It now plays very smooth but not responsive enough. So i am asking what response should i put in it? Please note i cannot use my lath to cut a recess for o rings becouse it just dosnt stay stable whatever i do.
Could the friction stickers from a FHZ work? becouse ive got a couple of them.
I am hoping to post pictures when im done.
Yes I know put i need some sort of pad that will last very long becouse i will have to glue the coca cola caps on over the axle. So i need some pad that is long lasting so it will be a while before i need to pry the coca cola caps off to undo the axle to replace it.
So I need to know what is a good long lasting looping pad to install??
That is referring to the original duncan friction stickers that are on the same page. I put the silicone stickers in my G&E 4 almost a year ago and they’re still good. I play it quite frequently.
