Why is it rare to see any significant offstring innovation? There are many good offstring yoyos out there but most of them share certain characteristics and only a few remain unique.
-somebody also needs to make an M shape offstring yoyo

The demand for 4A yoyos is probably much smaller than for 1A. For many companies it’s simply not feasible to spend time and money on offstring yoyos that will be much harder to sell.
