Silly new’ish question here - do you all fill up a case with your favorite yoyos and bring them all with you to contests to play, show others, etc? I have a modest collection with some interesting ones, but I’m a little concerned about the public mall environment and something going wrong like theft. I’m also still a little new and worried about throwing my favorite yoyos into a hard mall floor if I’m not carful 
At home I play on the rubber mats I have for my kids, so no worries when they hit the floor

I wouldn’t bring a lot.. maybe 4ish, especially if you see yourself moving around the contest/mall a ton.
I’m bringing 12 personally but I’m gonna have them in my backpack the entire time

What @hobbygod said. Def only do what you’re comfortable with. It’s fine to carry a backpack and take a case out only to change or show.
Some people really like trading at contests so if that sounds like you I would bring some stuff you might want to trade. Again, do what you’re comfortable with and if that’s not you, no big deal.

All good advice. I don’t want to carry too much, but I have a collection of Ace Yo’s with the Ace Girl designs that all look really good together. I only have one that I want to trade (an SF Motive - a great yoyo, but it just doesn’t suit me.)
