Tried to buy an RSO from @Saltylongnek. Sent payment 2 weeks ago, never sent tracking info. They stopped responding to my messages about a week ago. Had to open a case up with PayPal. Use G&S folks!

Woof, I message them again yesterday and told 'em I’d wait another 48 hours… but then I saw this post.
I sent them payment 2 weeks ago for an RSO (prototype delrin* Bowl) and they confirmed receipt of payment but has not provided tracking or proof of shipment, despite promises that it has shipped.
Also, no package has arrived, big sad… hopefully it’s all a misunderstanding but it seems otherwise at this point.

if you’re filing a claim with paypal, be ready to ‘escalate’ the claim. if the other user has a response for paypal, that’s what will likely have to happen.

As I remember, PayPal asks you to reach out to the seller with them tagged. Then you need to escalate the dispute if you have not received a satisfactory reply. I think they ask you to wait two weeks for a reply before escalating.
Good and Services is a small price for insurance.

Not likely, IP indicates a Charter Communication account in Texas. No evidence of a link to that group.

That’s a minor relief, especially since I was a fool and sent funds via Venmo.
I was jaded, but now it seems my easy life of smooth BSTs has ended 
Not like that makes it easier to get my money back… but at least it’s less likely this was some known scammer that I fell victim to and that gives me some relief.
