need some shoot the moon help

this trick is hard, i can do the forward pass pretty good but when i try to shoot it behind my head its very sloppy and on the next forward pass everything falls apart

any tips or advice is appreciated

practice. shoot the moon has no real shortcuts. make sure your response is right and your tension is right. since the yo-yo doesn’t flip it’s easiest with a butterfly (proflies are perfect for it).
might take you a few months but you’ll get it.

i used a yomega saber raider to help learn this trick and it helped alot.

ya i heard that its easier with a butterfly, but I’m just going to keep practing with my NXG, i also realize i need to change my string more often for this trick, it helps 100% more.
