Need help im moving to advanced

Hi guys,
I’ve learnt all of beginner and intermediate tricks. So I want to buy an unresponsive yoyo. But i can buy from just aliexpress because im living in turkey and i dont want to pay lots of shipping. So I’m thinking about buying a Magic Yoyo N12 Shark Honor with free shipping
And I have few questions:
1- Can I silicone this yoyo with a flowable silicone? Does it work for this yoyo?
2- If I buy thin lube online I have to pay 24 dollars shipping for a 5 dollars bottle. So I need an option for unresponsive playing without ordering thin lube.
3- On aliexpress there are just polyester strings. Is it ok with this yoyo?
Sorry for my bad english.

Can’t comment on your listed Magic-Yo’s response question because I don’t use them.
But if you are going to start playing unresponsive, my advice would be not to worry about lube for your bearings…if you lube them, they will not spin as long and they will play responsive. If you choose to lube them anyway, make sure you use no more than the tiniest drop you can apply…but once again,I don’t suggest lube at all for unresponsive play.

^ This. I would personally recommend that you avoid lube at this point. Lube doesn’t make a yoyo un-responsive, the wide gap and bearing does. Lube simply makes the bearing quieter but it can make the yoyo responsive if you add too much.

Polyester yoyo strings will do just fine.

Since you live in turkey, yes you can do all those things with that yoyo. Also instead of yoyo lube you can also but seeing machine oil instead which is cheaper plus it comes in a bigger bottle.

First of all, you’re going to love the Shark. It’s the yoyo I keep in my jacket pocket for practicing while I’m out and about. I have one sitting here at my desk at work right now.

As far as I know, you can re-silicon the Shark. But in the year I’ve been playing yoyos I’ve never worn out the silicon. Maybe a more experienced player will have a better opinion. You can go to an auto parts store and get a tube of silicon for setting a windshield. That will work quite well if you ever need to replace the silicon.

Polyester strings are fine. They will work well.

Have fun with it. ;D

I think I’ve seen a couple of Turkey yoyoers in youtube and have chat with some, you can ask them for a recommendation. Find Eren Atas or Selinsu Varol in Facebook.
