Wish Iâve had the longest out of the three. Itâs definitely a refined/tuned Navigator. It doesnât feel quite as rim-heavy but itâs still got that same DNA. Itâd a bit of the narrower side and the narrowest of the three in my pic but I donât really find that to be a detriment. Itâs powerful and carries its momentum forward really well without feeling like a rock or wanting to go faster than I want to. Definitely going to keep this strung up for awhile.
The Outlier 2 is the widest of the three with the sharpest cuts. Of the three, this feels the most meta. Itâs a really good evolution of the Outlier 1, especially for a casual and sloppy player like myself. The Outlier 1 was much more narrower, wanted to go fast, and I felt was very unforgiving in terms of tilt etc if you were a bit sloppy with your strings. The Outlier 2 is much more forgiving not tilting as easily, doesnât try to go fast (though itâs capable of movingâgo look up Brandon Vu putting it through its paces), and hasnât felt too wide to me so far. It doesnât feel great on the catch tho with those angular rims.
Lastly, the Nostalgia is the most recent but itâs really jiving with me. It feels very similar to the TopYo Encore though itâs a smidge wider. Iâll need to play it more to have impressions but it just feel really good to play.

General-Yo Mini-Star2: An undersized inner-ring bi-metal wonder. So good it doesnât feel like a compromise due to its size. Comfortable in the hand, on the eyes and on the string. Great graphic. I keep this one handy.
Deadly Spins Wrath (prototype): Full disclosure, I provided string for this model. Regardless, the feel of this thing, especially with the finish on this prototype just clicks both in the hand and on the string. The shape is my all-time favorite. Each half reminds me of the base of a chess piece that Batman would have, and I love the feel of it.
codinghorror/VsNYYC Ti-Vayder: The feel, the play, the look (either the raw one I torched or the Darth helmet black one). Now that I think about it, I did the string for this one too, lol. Still, I would like it anyway.
