Mystery yoyo

Another mystery yoyo
I picked this up on vacation in New Jersey at Cap May in and old-fashioned candy store and gift shop Morrow’s Nut House, when Hurricane Irene was coming, and we had to evacuate. There was no packaging, so I have no Idea of the maker.

The center hub is silver plastic, the yellow rims are hard plastic and the main body is metal.

It is responsive if I play it with 50/50 string or type 9 100% cotton. I never tried it with poly. I think the narrow high wall gap is what keeps it responsive.

As you can see in the disassembled picture there is a bearing that the string is on. There is a pair of spacers, the blue plastic objects one is out and other is in. The blue pen cap points to the raised nubs on the inside of the center hub. The gray pen cap points to the grove that that nub needs to set in when assembled.

It is a fun yoyo to play. So, if anyone can identify it, I will write a review.

I have no idea what yoyo it is but I do know that it shares a similar shape as the henry’s viper yoyo.

Thanks that Cyclone thing looks like it. Cool!

Less then $10.
It was new, with just clear plastic cellophane and a price tag , no bar code our UPC. The store didn’t have bar code reader.

I thought it might be a Henry’s when I picked it up, but didn’t think so when I got home and could look at them.

Yeah, Henry’s are quality made, even if they are “old fashioned” at this point. That thing looks like junk! Is it fun, though?
