Having a weird day. My mom and stepdad recently converted to Jehovas Witnesses despite my mother being a hardcore atheist most of her life.
As I’m sure many of you know (maybe not) JWs don’t celebrate holidays and I’m going to leave it at that so I don’t insult a “religion.”
So for the first time in my life I’m celebrating Christmas without my mom. I had lunch at my sisters with her husband’s family, my brother and my father.
Considering buying myself a gift to feel better.
I support you with that.
You deserve it. 
After spending Christmas with my nephew, the lawyer, I came home and ordered myself a yoyo. Two actually, and some string. Made me feel better.
