if you take it in context with the rest of the post, you can surmise that, yes, dope (in this case) is a good thing. It was shorter (and I thought easier to understand) than writing, “The appearance of this yoyo is such that it stimulates the production of dopamine, which in turn stimulates the pleasure and reward center of my brain.” And this, sir, is good. ;D
Powder Coating. Somewhere in this thread there are some post about the process.
I have to send out this small apology to “slowyojoe” and “aznnboyaZ” who have been waiting for the yoyos they have sent me to be pc’d.
It has been a struggle for me here at the house lately. I have been remediating my house from the flood of Sandy and needless to say it is truely a mess. I simply have not had the time to devote to the yoyos as the need for living quarters has taking presidence over them.
I appreciate the patience and understanding you two have shown and as valued customers I am doing my very best to get your projects done asap. Bear with me a bit your yoyos are safe and sound and waiting to go under the knife today.

Super new color hot out of the oven “Anodized flat purple”. In person this is absolutely amazing and is without a doubt my new favorite by a long shot. Hope to have some sunny pics for you this weekend…

So powdercoating over a beadblast does have a nice affect? And that’s looks freaking great! Would love to see that in blue or red!

Believe it or not that is over a polish!!! It is a translucent which is kind of weird but the manufacturer notes it to be applied over a chrome or polished finish. It comes in a couple of other colors including red which looks pretty sweet. After seeing this red is my next purchase, looks similar to the red of the STYY Remnant only shinier.
About as close to the canodized finish from ILYY as I can get, which I am a big fan of. Also has a slight texture to it. Stuff is pretty sweet imo.
