When I first dipped a tentative toe into the modern waters I picked up a YYFactory Arrow Elite. Plastic, darn near indestructible, comes with both responsive and unresponsive bearings, has fingerspin caps. Sounds like it ticks all your boxes. Oh, and under $20 so if it ainโt yer thang you can give it to someone and make their day.
I donโt like the feeling of molded polycarbonate yo-yos either. If you like everything else about the yo-yo, sandpaper can improve the surface texture.
Another option is the Dale Tubat Intro. 3D printed and comes with a narrow and full sized bearing.
I agree with @Tempura about preferring POM/Delrin. Some people dislike the texture. I actually think that machined PC has the highest quality feel and grind performance. But I really like POMs distinctive feel.
Dale Tubatโs 3D prints (and probably others) have yet another texture that someone could prefer or dislike. I have been impressed by both the Intro and Rival.
They both looks really nice but there is one issue with the Apollo. It doesnโt have the finger spin. To finger spin is really something I really really wanted In my next throw. The speed xx I really like I found one that is not on the website. Itโs like an all white which looks really sweet. Itโs like $31 shipped.
I kind of like this one a lot to be honest with you but itโs not responsive like I wanted but itโs okay.
Yeah I was just looking around for different things so every yo-yo that you guys told me about I went to different sites to see if I can find different designs and I happen to come across this white one that really piqued my interest I could get it in 1 to 2 days if I pay you like 11 bucks more but I have a $4 discount which helps trying to get something quick. Iโm going on vacation soon so I need a yo-yo I can get really fast to bring with me.
I was really hoping that they had some on Amazon, but the only thing that they have really on Amazon is the magic. Yo-yo V10 V12 v13 and some cheat codes.
