No where near $1000… feels the same on finger grinds that a matte red Draupnir I had. The engravings don’t cause any issues, at least to me

I thought about it after reading your answer, actually 90% of those incisions are horizontal and go in the direction of rotation of the yoyo so I think this is the reason why the yoyo grinds well (and it would have been a shame given the finish … not quite usual on YYR).
