Let's Get Plumpy! (SoM Sickburn Signature)

I gave you the rundown in a DM but if you’d like I could make you a bearing and send it. Were these standard C? Do you want flat or a centering bearing? I’m sending you a package anyway… I’ll just put you one in there.

I’d absolutely love a flat C and a concave C, both standard size if it’s not too much trouble

I’ll toss you that Alice that has some battle scars for your trouble

You got it!! Very responsive… yeah??

Very responsive would be great as long as it can sleep still and spin on trapeze without snag and return good when I pop it in the air out of trapeze, thank you soo much

I basically want to do old school tricks like split the atom without snag and also be able to do stalls and moons

Honestly, whatever you do with it, I’m happy

I chose to ignore the standard bearing seat dimensions and make my own and made sure to include enough room to be able to do that! I hate having to use a bearing tool. Plus imo sometimes that can damage the post after repeated bearing removal tool usage.

Looks like the team at Rapid Direct found some yoyo tutorials on their own :joy:

Possible translation issue since they called it a box of my products lol but most of those are made by other people. Seeing the Waffle Stomper there made me giggle though.

Love me some Waffle Stomper, so glad they enjoyed the care package

This is fantastic, love that this has been more of a partnership and collaborative than just they make a thing and you sell the thing

I do indeed! I was actually planning on testing it with unresponsive, lubed response, and a greasebucket when I can, so I’ll keep you posted!

Sweet! Thank you.

And here is a final video from me showing it setup 5A Bandalore style (half spec triple wrapped.) I might try 4A with it eventually

That’s awesome! Not gonna lie either, something about it makes me want to try a little off-string as well, haha!!!

It’s got a nice ring to it too.

Kinda felt it obligatory to showcase it in unresponsive since it really really shines in that configuration as well and would hate to not share. Took @Slestak75 advice and just did my normal old school string tricks with a bind at the end since this old dog doesn’t really know the newer unresponsive fancy stuff

A man of many talents! Love watching these! Officially an unresponsive master.

The eyebrows killed me :joy:

So impressive! the offspring never imagined it going off string when I designed it.

That was the sickest hype video I have seen for a throw, and honestly, I can’t think of a throw that’s such finely tuned and versatile for so many styles. You showcased it beautifully

Much appreciated certainly! If there was any time for me to be silly, it’s surely for Plumpy.
And something about it was just like “throw me in the air, you know you want to,” lol.

Many many thanks sincerely! Means a lot coming from someone ripping out the tricks you’ve been with it as well!
