It too looks Outstanding!!!
What color is that? Midnight jasmine?
Those were the references given to the shop!
They got it dead on. Belongs on a dodge viper
Yes! One of the things I’m enjoying about using this shop is that they aren’t the exact same basic ano colors. Like if you get a yoyo machined from FPM, Top Yo, MYY, it’s like they all probably shop from the same suppliers for their colors all the reds are the same, the blues are the same, etc. However not being a yoyo shop directly my shops colors are definitely not the same. Plus if I want some variety they can Pantone match literally any shade I want to throw at them. So while they can’t do splashes or fades or whatever yet there is still an ability to shake things up in a new way.
You really found a hidden gem with them. My heart goes out to you and Will on the Ultems, but I hope the recent batch of gems brought you both some smiles
Yeah at this point I’m over the Ultem. I’m gonna give a free Caramel to everyone who buys a Demons Fun and eat the cost and let the past go. They are brittle but folks will find a way to have fun with them at least until they ding them ![]()
And opening up the box of a huge varied amount of yo-yos and having them all fit together and work was massively rewarding! I wasn’t sure stuff like this and the Acorn were gonna come out great because the shop and myself hadn’t done any unresponsives or c bearings. Definitely no multi piece gut systems. There was a lot that could go wrong.
On the Plumpy, is it unresponsive with a dry bearing and then just add some thick lube and it plays like old school responsive?
Exactly! Gap is a hairs width wider than the Deepest State, like 0.05 mm I think. Dry bearing it’s unresponsive, add lube for response.
I’m shipping the protos with dry bearings because I have a hundred of them from the factory, I’ll toss in a lube tube with the protos though.
