how often do people use a new bearing/axle?
in other words- how often you replace your _______ bearing with a new one of that type?
(I’d love to especially hear about the YYJ, YYJ speed, YYF, KKs & 10-ball bearings and YYJ & YYF axles)

well im attempting to replace my DM’s axle due to the fact that my DM has had a bit of a brutal time since ive had it ive bent the axle which has introduced a terrible vibe so thats the only reason I am replacing the axle, as for bearings and such if you maintain them they should last for years, im assuming this though, but, I dont see why it would not be true.
Unless they have problems, axles don’t need replacing. Bearings last several years at least with proper maintenance.

by “proper maintenance” you basically mean lubing it when it gets loud?
Clean your bearing once in a while.
When it gets loud, it’s normal.
