So I am considering going to this since it is so close (6 hour drive ::))
Does anyone have any additional info on this other than what is represented on the website?
The yoyo workshop doesn’t contain a schedule?
The seeded players haven’t even been added from nationals?
How does it compare to Nationals, i.e. amount of people, turnout, vendors that come if any?
Who exactly is running this again? Is it yoyoexpert?
Anyone have any previous experience they can share?
Hey! you should definitely go this year, it should be exciting. I went last year and it was amazing. Pros and yoyoers just walking around having a good time.
Andre Boulay and Steve Brown are the main organizers of the LVO this year. Last year, there were many vendors such as: YYE, Radical seas, YYF, Kendama CO., etc. This year should be even more exciting, with more players entering. Compared to Nats, the LVO is a very competitive Contest; probably even more so than Nationals. This is due to the top placing players receiving seedings to semi’s at Worlds next year, not to mention large amounts of money I plan o compete here as well, so it should be a fun experience for me; as well as others. At this time, I do not know of the seedings for this contest, registration, or exact vendors. Overall, this should be a very enjoyable contest ;D
Yes you’ll have to pay to attend. The LVO Contest is part of SkillCon so you get access to a ton of fun stuff as well as the yo-yo contest. Spectator Registration just opened up: http://lasvegasyoyo.com/spectator-registration/
Yeah we’ll have a booth, should be similar to our usual setup like you saw at Nationals.
No registration deadline yet, but they usually cut it off like a week before the contest or so.
There was an issue with music upload that is being worked out now, should be ready to go later today r tomorrow. Did you already register? Feel free to send us an email and we can help you out.
