I think in a decade plus of being active in the yoyo scene, Iā€™ve seen 1 (maybe 2) on eBay. Grail for sure

Just curious, how is this different from an SB2?

Itā€™s truely just a collector piece not to minimize the value in anyway

Thereā€™s not a lot that is different between the TurboYo and the SB-2 aside from availability. The Turbo-Yo was a prototype release of 39 units that represented all of the design elements that we see in the SB-2. The only major difference that I can think of was the material of the bearing spacer, but Iā€™ll need to verify that. The SB-2 was released two months after the Turbo-Yo was debuted. Of course the SB-2 went on to become one of the most popular aluminum yo-yos ever, continuously available for sale for 35 years now.

Good luck finding one. Most folks I know with one arenā€™t looking to sell it. The last time one went up on eBay (in 2018) is sold for almost $3,000. Iā€™d estimate youā€™ll be paying around $5,000 for one these days.
