Ios26 and the forum

Anyone else update to the latest IOS version and find editing text on the forum and navigation nearly impossible on mobile… or am I just an odd ball

Is this in browser only? Have you tried using the Discourse iOS app? Does it behave any differently?

I am seeing though there is some discussion about an iOS beta update that fixed a lot of problems.. So I do think it is on Apple side of things and likely will resolve very soon!

It’s primarily in the discourse app. I figure it’s on the Apple end and just par for the course if adopting early in the official release when I should have known better.

I’ve given up on the ios default keyboard as in ios 26 it just doesn’t want to work on this platform and now use swifykey

I upgraded to iOS26 on my 13 mini a few days ago. Zero issues with anything on the forums/discourse so far.

Using default keyboard and Safari.

I miss my 12 mini, was such a great size for a phone, they should have kept that and ditched the “plus” line. Leave the big phones for the pro max freaks

Also a mini fan.

I recognize that larger phones are a genuine need for some people (I have a niece with vision issues).

Partially convinced that Apple shot themselves in the foot by calling it the mini. It’s not even small, it’s just not a phablet. If they just released this as the “‘normal” phone size I feel like the majority of regular people would’ve been fine with it.

Battery life is great, screen feels enormous. I think the issue was when people feel like they’re getting “less” than the normal model it just makes it not as enticing.

Oh well. I’m gonna ride this out until they release a new smaller phone or it stops receiving updates. I think it should still be good for another 3-4 years at least.

I intentionally don’t update my IOS until something literally makes me. I am on 18.6 and I went to that from 15 or 16 something.
