I’m trying to post an insta video but the automatic thing where it converts the link into an embedded video just says to login without the video. Here’s an example
Am I doing something wrong? Seems to be working for some but not for me

It looks like the canonical URL is forcing a redirect to login on some of them. Not sure what makes certain instagram accounts / pictures do that versus others?

At least for me that happened when my account was private

If you view source on the page, this is the problem

That redirects to a login page.

My account is public and I am having the same issue with my links directing to the login page

This is fixed in the main code but needs a deployment here. We ignore the canonical “redirect to login” meta-tag that instagram adds because… well, it’s busted if we don’t.
