I consider One Drop to be one of the most prominent companies in yoyoing when it comes to the innovation of modern yoyos, especially the addition of side effects. Do you think that there is still room for major innovation in yoyo design, not just at One Drop but in the industry as a whole?
It’s hard to imagine as a player, with the amount of yoyos released recently that really push the envelope, that the manufacturers can still push the limits of what we think is possible.

Excellent question. I’m not totally sure but it does feel like things have some standardized now and that change is small increments. Much like cars. There is not longer huge leaps but more like small improvements over time. All cars need 4 tires, a body, steering wheel etc. Once the basics were settled, it was small improvements from then on. Perhaps that’s where yoyos are. Will be fun to find out though!
