Hah! When I first got back into throwing, I was picking up older Tk stuff. I don’t remember typing in “Pocket Rocket” into any of my Shop/amazon/purchasing platforms, but suddenly they all started showing me s&m bondage equipment! ball gags and riding crops! Hahah! Pretty funny. Fun with algorithms.

A couple years ago I’d pick up yoyo-lots like this for 15-30 bucks depending on if it had one or two cool throws that I wanted for my collection. For example, in this listing the only yoyos I’d be remotely interested in would be the thrasher or xbrain. If I really wanted them, I’d make a bid(which most of the lot listings started as) or I’d make an offer(back then they’d ask $30-$40 max). I’d normally get it for a much lower price.
Now most of the yoyo-lots look like this: very high listing with an option to offer. No bids. This is definitely looney.

Insanity. They’re almost entirely essentially junk, too. Stuff i’d probably skip over at a thrift store in a dollar bins.

I mean I almost never see YoYo’s at a thrift store so I wouldn’t skip dollar trash throws simply for the novelty of finding yo-yos in the wild but yeah they are t worth that much for sure
