Improvised yo-yo lube?

What household kind of oil can I use instead of some kind I would buy to make my lyn fury more responsive? I can do a bind, I just want the oil to faster learn counterweight play without having to wind it up all the time because I missed a bind or something, and binds are not a specialty of mine as of yet.

So anyway, a household oil that is safe for a yo-yo? to make it MORE responsive

3 in 1 oil works fine. You can buy it at your local wal-mart.

I use valve oil, it is like thin lube, but if you add enough of it, it would make it responsive.
I use it on all of my yo-yos, including unresponsive yo-yos like my Legacy, Big Ben, and Dark Magic, and responsive yo-yos like the Yomega Fireball, and Fast 201.

You can get valve oil from a music store.
