HE’S IN THE MAFIA!!! OH NOOOOOO!!!
The storm over here in NJ was pretty bad. I still don’t have power and there’s no word of when we’ll be getting it back. (if you’re wondering how I’m writing this, my college campus is open to the public since they have food and electricity. School has been closed all week though.)
My best friend’s house burned down in an electrical fire on Tuesday night. I showed up at his house in my Halloween costume the next day to find him salvaging what he could from his house. I offered him a place to stay at my house but he wanted to go to a shelter to get FEMA help more quickly. When he went to the shelter they turned him and his family away because of a PAPER WORK technicality. Last I heard from him he was downtown and out of gas (none of the gas stations have gas at the moment). I have no idea where my friend is right now though. I’m kind of bugging out.
The mall’s been closed for about a week now too (I work at the mall)…which means no hours and no money. This is a major setback for me seeing as I pay for school out of pocket.
And finally, last night my neighbor flipped out in a drunken rage in total darkness (we have no streetlights) and I had to chase her around the block and mop up her vomit.
I just want this stupid week to be over with.
