I hit my first real fingerspin today! Although, tbf when it happened i stared gawking and didnt even attempt to whip it so it just died on my finger lol but still, feels good.
I also wanna add, for anyone that may be working on/struggling with fingerspins, i remembered a tip on the yotricks tutorial where adam said he always has to tell ppl to throw it harder than they think they should. I then threw it what i thought would be excessively hard and turned out it was just right.

Congratulations, since learning finger-spins and DNA, for some reason I find it relaxing.
Nice! I still can’t do anything past landing the spin itself, but I’m looking forward to it. I lean more toward the string tricks but i figure if i cant at least do a basic spin and dna then what am i really doing here lol
Just remember the throw doesn’t have to be spinning to practice the bind whip.

congrats on your fingerspin. you could try to hit the DNA with a responsive yoyo first such as the arrow or axolotl by yyf. The best way to learn the DNA is to keep practicing until you can hit it consistently.
